On the afternoon of June 27, 2021, the signing and launching ceremony of the Lvliang Enterprise Science and Technology Commissioner Project Agreement was held in the conference room on the third floor of Sixian Building, Yingxi Campus, and then the seventh branch of the matchmaking meeting was held in the conference room on the fifth floor of our college. Li Yongxin, head of the Organization Department of Fenyang Municipal Party Committee, Zhou Wei, head of relevant enterprises, secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Civil Engineering, Dong Xiaoqiang, deputy dean of the School of Civil Engineering (presiding over the work), Liu Zhenxia, dean of the School of Marxism, Zhang Junyi, deputy dean of the School of Marxism, and the School of Literature and Law Zhang Zhenyu, Secretary of the Party Branch of the Department of Law, as well as the Science and Technology Commissioner and teacher attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Zhou Wei.
Zhou Wei emphasized that Lvliang is an old revolutionary base, and Fenyang City is the first place where Lvliang’s party organization was founded. As the 100th anniversary of the founding of the party is approaching, it is very important for Taiyuan University of Technology and Fenyang City to carry out school-site co-construction cooperation.
Dong Xiaoqiang expressed his welcome and gratitude to the leaders and representatives for their arrival, and introduced the representative scientific and technological achievements of the School of Civil Engineering to the representatives. He said that city-school-local cooperation is an effective way to integrate educational resources and corporate resources. It can not only provide technical support for Lvliang resident enterprises in key technology research and development, but also promote the transformation and application of our school's scientific research results. It is required that the commissioner be able to actively connect with the municipal government and enterprises, and successfully complete the expected scientific and technological tasks.
Liu Zhenxia, Zhang Junyi and Zhang Zhenyu introduced the basic situation of the School of Marxism and the School of Grammar respectively, and expressed their willingness to carry out follow-up cooperation with the Fenyang Municipal Government and enterprises. Afterwards, representatives of participating enterprises and teachers exchanged speeches on in-depth cooperation between the city and the school.
Finally, Li Yongxin made a concluding speech. He emphasized that the school-local cooperation project can give full play to the university's scientific research advantages, talent advantages and platform advantages, provide intellectual support for local development, and promote the economic and social development of Fenyang City. The Fenyang Municipal Government and enterprises should actively cooperate with Taiyuan University of Technology to promote the implementation of the project and open a new chapter of city-school cooperation.
