In order to thoroughly implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions on cracking down on telecommunication network fraud, effectively enhance students' safety awareness, and improve their safety prevention capabilities, on the evening of October 25, our school held a conference on the fifth floor of Block A, Boxue Building to prevent telecommunication network. Fraud Safety Lectures. Taiyuan Public Security Bureau Top Ten Anti-fraud Lecturers, Li Wantong ,Wan Bailin Branch Director Feng Police Station Deputy Squadron Officer, was invited as the guest speaker, Wang Zhijun, Director of the Second Procuratorate of Taiyuan Wanbailin District People's Procuratorate, and Assistant Prosecutors Zhen Yue and Li Wei, and more than 90 undergraduate students from the college attended the lecture.

In the lecture, Officer Li systematically analyzed telecom network fraud from three perspectives: "What is Internet fraud", "Characteristics and hazards of Internet fraud" and "How to prevent Internet fraud". Combined with the Internet usage habits of college students, he analyzes the fraud methods of criminals in depth, interprets the psychological changes of victims, introduces the property losses caused, and puts forward countermeasures and suggestions for preventing telecommunication network fraud. Officer Li's vivid and realistic narration resonated with the students present. The students said that the development of network technology has provided a lot of opportunities for criminals, and the lack of their own security awareness has also made college students easy to become deceived object. Through this lecture, everyone learned about more fraudulent methods and the dangers involved. Afterwards, we should be more vigilant and keep the alarm bells ringing, so as not to leave opportunities for criminals.

At present, telecommunications network fraud is in a period of high incidence. Holding this anti-fraud safety lecture will help guide students in our college to reflect on their daily network behavior, improve their security awareness, and prevent more students from becoming victims of telecommunications network fraud. In the future, the college will also take multiple measures to prevent online fraud, enrich campus safety education, and protect the safe and healthy growth of students in the form of broadcasting anti-fraud promotional videos and holding theme class meetings.
